An Origin Trip to Thailand

We love working directly with coffee farmers— it’s one of the reasons we got into this business in the first place! You can read more about that here.

On our latest origin trip, we visited two very cool coffee farms in Chang Rai, Thailand. These farmers are growing some beautiful specialty coffee. Just look at these happy coffee plants!

As is often the case in the specialty coffee industry, one of the best parts of an origin trip is tasting! Getting to try the coffees right where they’re grown is so special.

And these coffees are grown in an amazing setting! The view from these farms is just unreal.

Long story short: BonLife was founded on the desire to make a positive change in specialty coffee world by paying farmers living wages and supporting farmers who are doing the same for their employees. Of course we also look for coffee farms that are creating delicious product too! The coffees we share with you have to taste amazing.

One of the reasons we visit coffee farms is to establish relationships with farms that meet these standards. It’s always so exciting when we visit incredible farms who are doing good in their communities, just like these two farms in Thailand.
