Fourth of July Coffee Recipes
It’s almost the Fourth, friends! Need some coffee inspiration for the big day? We’re sharing some summery coffee recipes on the blog today that are perfect for this holiday.
If you’ve followed our blog for any amount of time, you’re probably a pro at making cold brew by now. If not, here’s our blog all about cold brew. You’re going to need some cold brew on hand for these recipes.
Plus, good old fashioned cold brew is great to have on hand this time of year regardless.
The first thing we’re going to make for your Fourth of July is coffee ice cubes! This recipe is so simple: all you need is cold brew (or iced coffee) and an ice cube tray. Fill the tray with your coffee of choice and freeze it the night before you need it.
Having coffee ice cubes will give you so much diversity in your drinks. There is a ton you can do with these— feel free to get creative!
The second recipe we recommend making for the Fourth of July is cold brew lattes with coffee ice cubes! This recipe is very fast and easy to make, perfect for hosting a lot of people for the holiday. Here’s how to make it:
2 oz. cold brew concentrate
4 oz. milk of your choice
3-6 coffee ice cubes (depending on size)
1 oz. flavored or simple syrup (optional)
This recipe can be altered to your taste preferences. It’s great with no flavor, but holds up well to syrups. The best part? As the ice cubes melt the drink won’t become watered down since they’re made of coffee!
Last, but definitely not least, we’re making coffee slushies! Your guests are going to love these grown-up slushies, and they’re so easy to make. All you have to do is toss these ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and slushy!
3 oz. cold brew concentrate
5 oz. milk of choice
1 oz. flavored or simple syrup (optional)
6-8 coffee ice cubes (depending on size)
This is another recipe that can be altered to your tastes. If you have a big blender, you can make a bigger batch; just scale the recipe up.
We hope these recipes help keep your holiday caffeinated in the most fun way! Let us know what you think if you try them out!
