Twelve Days of BonLife: Day 7

It’s the Seventh Day of BonLife! During the Twelve Days of BonLife we are sharing daily blog posts as a gift guide for you. Today’s specialty coffee product is coffee subscription boxes! This is such a fun gift to give some who’s interested in specialty coffee: it’s the gift that keeps giving all year long! (Or however long you decide to purchase it for them.)

What is a coffee subscription box you ask? It’s just what it sounds like: a regular, scheduled shipment to someone’s home or office of delicious specialty coffees! Subscription boxes make great gifts for any coffee lover. They will be overjoyed to try the coffees that show up at their doorstep, and all you have to do is order it once. Subscription boxes are a set it and forget it type of purchase. It’s also a great gift for anyone who lives far away from you as the coffee roaster will ship it right to them! Win win win, right?!

So what should you look for when you shop for coffee subscription boxes?

Again, it’s pretty simple! Does the person you’re shopping for like single origin coffees or blends? Do they drink decaf? Typically that’s all you’ll need to know. And if you don’t even know those details, that’s ok too! Many roasters will offer roaster’s choice boxes that are a rotating surprise subscription of whatever the roaster feels would be best at that time. Some roasters will offer subscriptions based on taste, like wild versus mild, or roast level, light versus dark.

Use your best judgement; this is a generous gift for any coffee lover to receive as they’re receiving the gift of trying lots of new beans. They’ll be happy with whatever you send them!

Coffee subscriptions will ship within a couple of days of purchase, but if you want it to arrive by Christmas, the December 18 cutoff applies.
