Twelve Days of BonLife: Day 11

On the Eleventh Day of BonLife we’re talking coffee sampler sets! During the Twelve Days of BonLife we have dropped daily blog posts to share with you twelve of our favorite specialty coffee products in hopes of making your holiday shopping a little easier.

On Day Three of our Twelve Days Series we talked about specialty coffee beans and how to shop for them for others. Today we wanted to mention one other way to shop for beans that involves a good deal and a healthy dose of surprise. It’s the Coffee Sampler Set!

A coffee sampler set is perfect for someone who loves to taste new coffees! It’s also perfect for someone who has a hard time choosing a new coffee. Get them the gift of multiple coffees!

Some but not all specialty coffee roasters offer sampler sets. They’re generally multiple small bags (around 100 grams each) of fresh-roasted beans that are chosen by the roaster. Typically these sampler sets are a surprise to the consumer but offer a wide range of what the roaster has to choose from. For example it might include two coffees from Africa and two from Central or South America. Or it might include three light roast coffees and one thats a medium or dark. It could be three single origins and one blend. You see the patter: it’s a surprise selection of beans!

We offer two coffee samplers here at BonLife: one that includes four 100 g bags of our top-notch coffee and one that includes those four bags plus a ceramic BonLife mug. We only carry that second gift set during the holidays. It gets you a better deal on the coffees plus the mug if you’re looking to put together a cute gift basket for someone.

Both gift sets are available in whole bean or ground. Both are available here on our website or in our store. Both include surprise coffees hand-selected by our roaster: it’s a roaster’s choice sampler!

Obviously we’re partial to our award-winning beans and highly recommend checking out our sampler deals. But if you’re looking to buy someone several sampler sets from different roasters, just check the other roasters’ websites! They’re pretty common in the specialty coffee world, but it’s no guarantee that every roaster will carry a sampler set.

We started the Twelve Days of BonLife a bit too early for it to end on Christmas. That’s because we want to give you a few extra days to finish up that last minute shopping with our specialty coffee gift guide in mind. Orders over $30 qualify for free shipping. The last day we can ship out an order for it to arrive by Christmas is the day after tomorrow, December 18.
