We source our unique Lulo Wonka Wonka coffee from Jairo Arcila and his amazing family in Quindio, Armenia, Colombia. Jairo and the team at Cofinet have been experimenting with co-fermenting coffee with various fruit and yeast strains for the last several years and this one is CRAZY. Lulo is a native Colombian citrus fruit, and it’s used to amp up the already beautiful coffee from Jairo Arcila’s farm. We visited Arcila’s farm and hand selected this lot!
In the cup you’ll get guava, passionfruit and other tropical fruit notes with candied bubblegum and an absolute never ending gobstobber of flavor, if Willy Wonka made coffee this would be it…..just bonkers.
We blended the Lulo Wonka Wonka with our Sebastian Gomez Gesha, also from Colombia.
This extremely small lot of Gesha coffee from Sebastian Gomez was hand-harvested and processed with care to highlight the citrus, tropical, and floral tasting notes. Sebastian took over this coffee farm from his father and began growing exceptional varietals of coffee and raising the caliber of the farm in the process. This is exactly the type of farm we love working with, and we are so excited to share this limited lot coffee with you!
